Pepe - Lunché Designs
The definition of beauty and comfort is different for every individual. While purchasing custom and to-the-trade furnishings can fill your home with luxury, there are also many creative options available to those on a more limited budget. There is a wealth of beautiful, affordable, and sustainable design that is not only easy on the wallet, but also helps to support the community around us. Re-purposing used furnishings, working with local artisans, finding classic budget friendly pieces and mixing them with treasures in your own collection are just a few ways that you can transform the space you live in.
Every project, large and small, is a unique and personal process. My goal is to help you define what pleases you and to create an environment that comforts you by reflecting who you are and how you live.
I grew up surfing the beaches of Southern California in a family of designers. My Grandmother an art professor and designer and my mother an artist and fashion designer were my daily creative inspirations. Being the product of such a fertile environment, it is difficult to pinpoint when my passion for design and appreciation for beauty began. However, while only in high school, my passion also became my profession when small local boutiques started commissioning me to design their window displays. I continued designing while in college and was thrilled when Saks Fifth Avenue asked me to join their management staff.
After completing my studies I traveled throughout Europe and the United States with Erno Laszlo and then Lancome planning their new color and product launches.
In 2001 I established my design studio in Berkeley, California, where I now live. Both residential and commercial projects make up my portfolio of work, as well as custom furniture and lighting commissions.
I'm pleased to have you along on this journey.
