A couple weeks ago I was working on a client's colorful drapery. I started by showing you how to applique drapery, lampshades, and pillows. If you missed it, here it is.
I finished the drapery panels by tying all the elements together with some blue woven cord. The blue really picks up the birds in the design.
I layed the panels side by side and chose a design that would bring it all together. I hot glued the cord on being careful to match the beginning and end of the cord on each panel.
Voila! Here's the final result. It looks so incredible in person. The iphone images don't do it justice but I promised I'd show you the final version.
